What it costs to look for it

Your company already knows the answer.
Someone pays to find it again.

The decision was made, the document exists, the conversation happened. It is just spread across drives, threads and people’s heads, so the same context gets re-explained to every new hire, every supplier and every AI tool. Put a number on that below.

Put your numbers in

The result is an estimate built from what you type, not a case study from someone else’s company.

Five numbers you know better than we do. Nothing here is a market average we made up.

Two premises, both ours: the calculation assumes 50% of that time comes back, and that half of a new hire’s ramp is hunting for context that already exists. Neither is a measurement of your company or a contractual promise.

Where the hours actually go

01

A question nobody can answer twice

TodaySomeone asks why the pricing changed last quarter. Two people get interrupted, one digs through Slack, and fifteen minutes later the answer is “I think it was because of the connector cost”.

With ValorBrainThe same question returns the decision, the date and the document it came from. If the person could not open that document, the answer does not quote it.

02

The first month of a new hire

TodayA new hire asks, in good faith, the questions the team answered last month. The senior person who knows the history becomes the bottleneck, and part of onboarding is oral tradition.

With ValorBrainThe new hire asks the company instead of the colleague. Decisions, handovers and product context are already there on day one, cited.

03

The mistake that repeats

TodayA path was tried two years ago and abandoned for a good reason. Nobody finds that reason, so the team tries it again and pays the same price.

With ValorBrainThe old attempt shows up next to the current question, with what was concluded and who concluded it.

Why the answer shows up at all

Everything above depends on finding the right evidence and using it well. On LoCoMo, the evidence reaches the top 10 for 96.58% of questions. On BEAM-100K, the 2026-08-23 run answered 323/400 correctly (80.8% binary accuracy) across 20 conversations, using GLM-5.3 Flash (Ox Alpha) with effort=max and judge GLM-5.2. Max effort added about 44% latency over the default. This is a benchmark setting, not the chat default; the method and limits are published.

Connect a drive or a repo and ask the first question. The free plan asks for no card and does not expire. The 14-day trial of the recommended plan asks for a card and charges nothing during the period.
